Cristiano Ronaldo scored his career landmark of 700 goals on Monday in Portugal’s Euro 2020 qualifier lost to Ukraine.

Ronaldo, 34, scored an excellent penalty shoot as Portugal lost 2-1 to Ukrain in the qualifier. The 700 goals so far were from a total of 973 matches, given that he has scored at least once in 458 of those matches.

The landmark goal on Monday has catapult Ronaldo into the league of few players in the world who scored at least 700 goals in their career.
