Have YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul gone pro… for £150 million, the answer is ‘oh hell ya’… What started off as a simple white-collar boxing event between the 2 YouTubers in 2018, which ended in a draw, has now grown into a professional bout as the two YouTube sensations meet once again in a professional Cruiser weight match scheduled this Saturday 9 November at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, USA.
The match now slated as ‘KSI vs Logan Paul 2′ , has already been dubbed as one of the biggest boxing bouts of the decade and will also feature Billy Joe Saunders who will be defending his WBO super-middleweight world title against Marcelo Coceres. American lightweight star Devin Haney will also be defending his WBC ‘interim’ belt that night.
The first fight sold out 21,000 tickets with 2.25 million viewers watching it live. The official KSI vs Logan channel received 75 million views by 17 September 2018
Although some critics just see this as a publicity stunt, the fact is that the 2 contenders have been taking the match very seriously. Not only does the winner go home with the money, but more importantly, the bragging rights. This fight is set to “breathe back” some much needed life into the world of boxing and between the 40 millions subscribers shared between the 2 YouTubers, it just might.
