John Cena Can Finally ‘Smell What The Rock Is Cooking” And Wants In

John Cena admits that he was “wrong” for calling Dwayne ‘ The Rock’ Johnson out for leaving the WWE and now wants in on the Hollywood action. Speaking to Sport Illustrated about his upcoming movie “Playing with Fire” , Cena talked deeply about the captivating hold that the WWE universe has on its wrestlers.

“wrestling is a wonderful industry, but it’s also extremely addictive” he told Sport Illustrated.

“It also pays really well, so you get attached to financial security. It allows you to make irresponsible financial decisions because you think the money’s always going to be there”

John Cena is now following the steps of former wrestlers Dwayne Johnson and Steve Austin as he begins to focus more on his movie career.

“I’ve told Dwayne Johnson that when I called him out for a lack of love for WWE, I was wrong. I was ignorant. He loves WWE, but he goes from shooting one project to the next. He blazed a trail and I didn’t understand that, but now I totally understand. I was wrong.”

Unlike ‘The Rock’ though, Cena still has no plans of leaving the WWE universe adding that he wishes only to evolve and grow within it.

It goes without saying that it takes a big man to admit he was wrong which is one of the many hallmarks about John Cena that have contributed to his success in the WWE universe and made him one of the most loved entertainers of his time.

Time will only tell if he is able to juggle between WWE and Hollywood as as the latter has a reputation of holding firmly onto anyone that has been bitten by the acting bug. Either way,we hope to see more of Cena in the ring next year, but will continue to support him on his new path and wish him great success in Hollywood.
