Unprecedented drama unfolded at the end of the NFL match on Friday between Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns as Garret almost “killed” Mason Rudolph when he hit the Pittsburgh Steelers head using the quarterbacks own helmet.
Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey and Browns defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi were also sent of the field after the Garret an Rudolph led to an all out brawl that saw punches and kicks been being thrown from both sides as the two teams clashed in the final seconds of the game.

Garret took responsibility for his actions and apologized for the ensuing consequences of his on his team and gave the following statement in his post game interview:
“I made a mistake, I lost my cool and I regret it,”
“It’s gonna come back to hurt our team.
“The guys who jumped in to the scrum… I appreciate my team having my back but it should never get to that, it’s on me.”
Garrett has been issued with an indefinite ban meaning i will not be playing the rest of the season for the Cleveland Browns. This is the longest suspension in league history for a single on-field infraction. He has also been fined an ‘undisclosed’ amount for the incident.
Steelers center Maurike Pouncey who was also sent off the field for his involvement in the scuffle where he punched and kicked Garrett has been suspended for three games without pay. Browns defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi was issued a one game suspension for shoving Rudolph to the ground. Both teams were also fined $250 000 each.

Amazingly enough Mason Rudolph survived the attack without any injury but also had no nice word to say to Garrett in his post match interview when asked what he thought of the incident.
“I don’t know what the rules are. I know it’s bush league and he is a total coward… It’s OK, I’ll take it. I’m not going to back down from no bully. We will see what happens.” Mason said.
