One would think that this would have been a walk in the park for Emery’s men as Eintracht have not defeated an English team away since 1967.

Arsenal began the first half looking very strong as they led on ball possession throughout the half. Eintracht were able to fend off Arsenal’s attacks but their luck ran our just before the half time whistle when 30 year old Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang managed to find the net send Arsenal in to the break leading 1-0.

Arsenals performance in the second half was nothing short of appalling as their defensive line broke down, a situation Eintracht were more then happy to and  ready to take advantage of.
