LA Lakers Win Over Wizards To Equal Franchise Record

The LA Lakers have just equaled the franchise best start to a season record as they beat Washington Wizards 125-103. The Lakers now are now 10 games unbeaten.

The Lakers last unbeaten streak was in 2009-10 season with a 11 game winning streak that ended on December 12 2009 when they lost to hosts Utah Jazz 102-94.

Lebron James scored 23 points with 11 assists whilst Anthony Davis made 26 points  with 13 rebounds.

They also recorded their highest win total in a single month since March 2000 as they managed an amazing 14-1 in the month of December.

Lebron James made it clear in his statement that the team would not let this these recent achievement go to their heads as their main focus was making to the Championships. He went on to add :

“We have guys who have been there and know what it takes. This is a long process, and we can never shortcut it. But we can enjoy it along the way.”

Anthony Davis scored 15  of the Lakers 37 first quarter points.

Washington Wizards Bradley Beal lead the  team with 18 points and 9 assists.

The LA Lakers will now face Dallas Mavericks on  Sunday at the Staples Centre as they try increase their winning streak.
