Barcelona has sunk its claws into rising star Ansu Fati by having him sign a release clause of $440 mil when he signs his professional contract with Barcelona.
They have already announced that they have raised his current release clause up from $110 million to a whopping $188 million in a contract that sees him signed to the team until June 2022.

The 17-year-old Barca protégé, who graduated from La Masia academy just like current Barcelona captain and 2019 Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi, already made a name for himself as he became the youngest player to ever debut for Barcelona during their 5-2 victory over Real Betis at the age of 16yrs 298 days.

This made him the youngest player in La Liga history to both score and assist in a single match as he helped his team win their game 5-2 against Valencia.
Although born in Guinea-Bissau, Ansu has already pledged his loyalty to his new homeland as he has chosen to paly for the Spanish national team.
If the rising starts brief preview in the professional league is anything to go by, Barcelona may not be shedding any tears when current captain Lionel Messi eventually decides to retire as they have found a new star in Ansu.
