LeBron Helps Lakers Continue 12 Game Winning Streak

LeBron James managed to help the Lakers continue their 12 games winning streak in a very close game on Wednesday night as they scraped through with a 96-87 win against Orlando Magic.

Los Angeles Lakers are now 22-3 as they continue chasing the club record of a 16 game winning streak set in 1971-72.

LeBron led his team scoring 25 points that night with 11 rebounds and 10 assists. This now ties him in at second place with Russell Westbrook as they both have now achieved six triple-doubles with Luka Doncic leading with seven.

Player of the Week Anthony Davis was unable to get into full form as he only managed 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope helped bolster the Lakers by scoring 15 points on the night recording  5-10 from the field and 4-7 from behind the arc.

Former Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard had a tough night as he was greeted by a chorus of boos and cheers the home side supporters. The night didn’t get any better for him as he was involved in a fight with Orlando Players after a foul from Jonathan Isaac.

The resulting altercation led to both Jared Dudley and Wes Iwundu being ejected from the court.

The fourth quarter saw both teams tied on 71 points after Jonathan Isaac and Evan Fournier managed to lead Orlando back from a 24 point deficit however Lakers regained control of the game thanks to a 10-0 run that put them back in the driver’s seat and saw them winning the game.
