In the race for the NBA title, Milwaukee Bucks have now claimed the throne as NBA’s best record team after a 111-104 win over the LA Lakers.
The Bucks win has them now on 25-4 against the Lakers 25-5 as the Lakers went on to lose their second game after the Pacers brought an end to their 14 games winning streak earlier this week.
The Lakers looked totally out of form in the first half of the match allowing the Bucks to take the lead as they came out on top scoring 23 points in the first quarter against the Lakers 17 and then 42 in the second quarter against the Lakers 29.

One of the biggest mistakes of the night for the Lakers was allowing Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo to have his way with them as he scored 34 points going 5-8 from behind the arc with 11 rebounds.
It didn’t help that the Lakers star duo consisting of LeBron James and Anthony Davis seemed out of sync having combined to make 19-of-44.
Lebron ended the night with 21 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists while Anthony Davis managed to make out with 36 points and 10 rebounds.

All this was not enough to push the Lakers through with a win as their reserves were only able to make a combined total of 4 points.
The Lakers came back in the send half having won come out on top in the third quarter with 35 points against Milawwaukee’s 24 and the final quarter with 23 against the Bucks 22.
However this late was not enough to secure them a win.
The Lakers still top the Western Conference but this recent string of loses has exposed the reoccurring shortcomings and will need to be dealt with should they have any hope of walking away with the NBA title at the end of the season.
