Green Bay Packers Take NFC North Title After 23-10 Win Over Vikings

After their 23-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers now stand 12-3 the season going on to take the NFC North Title.

Aaron Jones scored two touchdowns whilst rushing a career-high 154 yards leading his team to clinch the title.

Jones now has 16 touchdowns this season just behind Hall of Famer Jim Taylor who scored 19 touchdowns in 1962.

The Packers had a poor first half as they Davante Adams and Jones lost fumbles to the Vikings. Having overcome 3 first-half turnovers, the Packers were able to make a comeback from their 10-3 deficit to go on and win the game.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers who threw 26 of 40 went on to thank his defense for keeping the Vikings in the game during their terrible first-half performance.

He went on to say the following during his post-game interview:

“Winning is always beautiful,”

“The run game was excellent tonight. We found a way to win.”

“Our defence kept us in it after the fumble on first possession. We were able to put something together in second half,”

“This is a good one for us. We have to rest up this week and we have a chance to play for something even bigger next week.”

The Packers are through to the playoffs and are currently seeded at No.2 in the NFC.

The  Vikings are also through to the Playoffs seeded at No.6 thanks to a wildcard thanks to Los Angeles Rams loss to San Francisco 49ers on Saturday.
