Liverpool started the game against Leicester with 10 points away from the second place title runners with a game in hand, and then put up an excellent performance which now put them 13 points ahead of the Foxes, a point that makes it almost impossible for Jurgen Klopp’s side not to end the Premier League title drought.
Liverpool constantly mounted pressure on the Foxes, and that’s a good game considering Fabinho wasn’t in the squad as a result of injury. The way the Reds cut off passing lanes and held shape really gave Brendan Rodgers’ side trouble throughout the game.

Liverpool further decorated their magnificent display when Alexander-Arnold assisted another for Firmino, who scored with an effortless finish, before the England defender got his reward with a thumping right-foot angled finish.
After beating Leicester, Liverpool have now dropped only two points from their first 18 matches and have lost only one league match. It’s almost impossible to see the Reds miss the Premier League title, which they have not been opportune to claim for 30 years now.
