Liverpool has just extended its contract with manager Jurgen Klopp to 2024. The German manager originally signed a 6-year contract with the Reds in October 2015 and has since lead them to win the Champions League title 2018-19 and also finishing in second place in the Premiership that same season.
Klopp as turned the Reds into a force to be reconned with as they only missed the top spot in the Premiership by 1 point after losing only one game the whole season.
This season they find themselves on the top spot with an 8 point lead and remain unbeaten having only drawn 1 of their 16 games so far.
They are also through to the final 16 knockout stage of the Champions League as they remain on track to defend their title after finishing at the top of their qualifying Group E table.
“This club is in such a good place, I couldn’t contemplate leaving. For anyone in football who aspires to compete in an environment where every element of the organization is at its very best – from the support of the supporters to the vision of the owners – there can be no better place than this.” Klopp went on o say after announcing the extension of his contract
