Houston Texans Deshaun Watson had a brilliant night as he led his team to a 28-22 win over New England Patriots with 3 successful touchdown passes and a touchdown catch. This makes him the third player since 1970 to achieve this feat in a single match.
This also marks the second time that Houston have beaten the Patriots with the only other win going as far back as 2010.
New England’s Tom Brady was visibly frustrated throughout the game as he was seen venting off at fellow team mates at various intervals throughout the match.
Brady was able to reduce the Patriots gap in the last 4 minutes of the game by completing 2 of his 3 touchdown passes rounding up the night with a 28-22 loss against Houston.
Watson made it very clear that was happy to have finally gotten a chance to beat Tom Brady before the NFL legend retires as he went on to say:
“It is special for me,” said Watson. “Before he hangs it up I had to at least get one on him. I had to get this one.”
Houston’s win over New England mean that they retain their one game lead at the top of the AFC South Divion
