Aston Villa who are currently 17th on the Premier League table now have to deal with injuries as Wesley and Tom Heaton undergo scans today.
Wesley Moraes may be out for the rest of the season at a time where the record £22,000,000 signing would be needed the most as Aston Villa try keep themselves out of relegation.
Wesley Moraes scored the opening goal for Aston Villa in the 27 minute in their game against Burnley FC on New Years Day.
He was later involved in a clash with Burnley defender Ben Mee which led to him being taken off the pitch after lengthy treatment.

It is believed that he has cruciate ligament damage which could see the player unable to play for the remained of the season.
Villa goalkeeper Tom Heaton was also removed from the pitch on a stretcher after having messed up his knee while defending against Chris Wood’s attempted goal.
The extent of his injuries are yet to be confirmed but the timing of both injuries could no thave come at a worse time as Aston Villa are trying to keep themselves clear of relegation in the Premier League.
