Anthony Davis put up a stellar performance for the LA Lakers against his former team the New Orleans Pelicans with a 123-113 win. The Western Conference top side continue their dominance in the league now going 28-7.
Anthony Davis went on for a double-double scoring 46 points, 13 rebounds, 3 steals and 1 rebound.
Davis had a perfect game from the free-throw line going 13 for 13.
Teammate Lebron James was in a “giving mood” as he posted 17 points with 15 assists and 8 rebounds.

The Lakers opened the gap in the first quarter scoring 42-30 with Danny Green, ended the night with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists, netting 6 three-pointers.
The LA Lakers slipped into their old bad habit of not maintaining their pace in the final quarter of the game as they almost allowed the New Orleans Pelicans to pull off comeback upset.
The Pelicans managed to outplay the Lakers in the final quarter posting 30 points against the Lakers 18 points. This was however not enough to clinch victory away from the home side.
Lonzo Ball led the Pelicans standoff with 23 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists, while Brandon Ingram put in 22 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.
This game now gives the Lakers a 4 game win streak and keeps them on top of the Western Conference table going 28-7.

The New Orleans Pelicans find themselves at the bottom spectrum of the Western Conference going 11-24.
Danny Green 3 point mastery contributed to the Lakers posting a 48.3 % (14/29) 3 point accuracy against the Pelicans 29.7% (11/37).
Green went on to thank his teammates for assisting him on his 3-point dominance, going on to say :
My teammates did a great job of finding me,”
“I got easy, wide-open look rhythm shots in the corner, and once one or two go in, it is easy.”
