Juventus won their Serie A game 4-0 to Cagliari but Cristiano Ronaldo once again made headlines with his hat-trick cementing his status in the record books.
There were no goals scored in the first half of the game with a near goal coming just over 10minutes from the half time break when a header from Demiral hit the crossbar almost putting Juventus into the lead before the halftime break.

The second half saw Cristiano Ronaldo scoring his first goal of the game in the 49th minute of play putting Juventus in the lead for the first time.
Cagliari defender Ragnar Klavan hashed up a pass right at the edge of the Cagliari penalty box which was scooped up by Ronaldo who punished the visitor’s mistake with a goal.
His second goal of the game in the 67th minute came off a penalty on teammate Paulo Dybala who was taken down by Marko Rog in the Cagliari box.
He later went on to assist Gonzalo Higuain to score Juventus’s third goal of the match in the 81st minute of play after his through-ball sent Higuain on a break cutting into the Cagliaribox and sending the ball home for a goal.

Ronaldo’s hat-trick goal came a minute later thanks to a wonderful cross from Douglas Costa that lead to Ronaldo tapping the ball in under Cagliari goalkeeper Robin Olsen.
Juventus ended the night with a 4-0 win against the visitors.
Cristiano’s treble means he now marks his ‘56th career hat-trick‘.
He now joins Alexis Sanchez in the record books as the second player to have scored a hat-trick in the Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A this century having previously scored for Manchester United and Real Madrid.
This also marks his 36th league hat-trick overshadowing Lionel Messi who has scored 34.
No other footballer has scored more goals in Europe’s top five leagues since 2008.
He now also becomes the first player to score one goal in at least one of the top five leagues in Europe over the past 18 years since his first goal for Manchester United in November 2003.
