This midweek transfer news and update concerns Manchester United, Tottenham Spurs, and AC Milan. Bruno Fernandes, Gedson Fernandes, Simon Kjaer and Christian Eriksen are this week’s hot topics so far.

With many teams being plagued by injuries and fatigue thanks to the hectic holiday schedule they had to endure, a lot of teams are looking for some fresh legs to replace some of their fallen soldiers.

Manchester United are looking to wrap up their £60million deal for Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon by the end of the January transfer window.

Although  Christian Eriksen played for Tottenham Spurs in their  FA Cup game against Middlesbrough on Tuesday, the Denmark international has been linked to a  move to Inter Milan and it is said that terms have been agreed although Mourinho remains hush on Eriksen’s future at the club.

Meanwhile, Mourinho has secured his first signing with Gedson Fernandes officially joining  Tottenham Spurs on an 18-month loan from Benfica with an option to buy.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had approached Christian but Erikson made it clear that he had no intention of stay in England has chosen to go to Inter Milan. The two camps are in the final stages of negotiations unfortunately While Inter have made an offer of £8.5milliion for the playmaker, Spurs are holding out for a fee closer to 17million

AC Milan have signed Simon Kjaer on loan from Sevilla. Kjaer completed his medicals yesterday and will join the like of Zlatan Ibrahimovic with who he has a history. Hopefully, the past will not repeat itself with the two teammates at each other’s throats.

The two had a heated incident during Manchester United’s 2-1 Europa  League loss to Fenerbahce in 2016 where Zlatan grabbed Kjaer’s throat in a burst of rage.
