The Lakers dominated the Knicks throughout most of the game, winning the first quarter 26-21 followed by the second quarter 36-24.

The Knicks managed to pull through the third quarter with a 2 point lead of 23-25 but the Lakers came back in the fourth and final quarter taking 32 points against the Knicks 17 points.

Anthony Davis picked up a sacral contusion injury in the final 3 minutes of the third quarter when a fell after an attempted block. Davis who was in visible agony then made his way to the locker and was unable to return for the rest of the game.

X-rays confirm that there was no fracture however it is unclear how long he will be out.

Even without  Davis, the LA Lakers were able to sail through to victory over the New York Nicks thanks to the games lead scorer LeBron James.

LeBron James led the Lakers to victory posting sic three-pointers and ending the game with 31 points 5 rebounds and 5 assists.

Kyle Kuzma assisted in the Lakers victory postin 16 points with 6 rebounds and 1 assist.

The New Your Knicks who were no match for the Lakers this time round were lead on the scoreboard by RJ Barrett who score 19 points with 5 rebounds.

Julius Randle pushed the Knicks up with 15 points 10 rebounds and 2 assists.

This win pushes the Lakers dominance in the Western Conference to 30-7 and marks their sixth straight win.

The Knicks find themselves in 10th spot on the Eastern Conference table with this their 3 straight loss tying them up with Cleveland Cavaliers on 10-27.
