England stands on 300/7 as they break for lunch on day 2 of the 4th cricket test match of the series between South Africa and England in Johannesburg.

England are currently leading the series 2-1. Joe Root and Ollie Pope resumed the batting for England and finished up the over that was interrupted due to bad lighting on Friday.

They continued their powerful partnership well until the 69th over with both batsmen reaching over half a century before Ollie Pope was bowled out by Anrich Nortje sending Pope off the pitch with 56 runs.

Jos Buttler took over from Pope and is currently standing on 16 not out.

Joe Root was the next Englishman to fall being caught out by Quinton de Kock thanks to a delivery from Anrich Nortje once again.

The two South Africans were at right again as they immediately took out Root’s replacement Sam Curan and made it 2 wickets in 2 balls.

Chris Woakes is currently on 19 not out in a partnership with Jos Buttler who is on 16 not out as the side broke for a lunch break at 300/7.

South Africa are still yet to bat their first innings in the 4th cricket test match of this series being played in Johannesburg.
