Luka Modrić wrapped it up for Real scoring their third goal of the night in the game in the 65th minute of play after some fancy footwork in the box saw him clip the ball between Valencia’s Gabriel and Francis Coquelin, gliding it right in front of Jaume Doménech and into the goal.

Zinedine Zidane and his squad now progress through to the final round of the Spanish Super Cup after their 3-1 victory over Valencia.

The tournament that is being held in Saudi Arabia has taken on a new format with the top two teams from La Liga and the Copa del Rey playing each other instead of just the 2 winners facing off as was the case before.
