With most of the English football clubs still feeling the consequences of the much-debated holiday fixtures that led to a lot of injuries across all competitions, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still debating on whether to rest or play Marcus Rashford on tonight’s game against the Wolves of save him for their Premier League clash against Liverpool on Sunday.

Marcus Rashford who has scored 22 goals for Manchester United this season across all competitions picked up a knock during the Red Devils Premier League  4-0 win against Norwich City.

When asked about Rashford being in the  lineup for today’s FA Cup replay, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer went on to say:

“I don’t know [if Rashford will play].”

“If he’s ready, and if I decide to play him, you’ll see. He’s played many games and I might have to look at it and see how we can manage him.

“But, we’ve got a week off very soon – in February.”

Earlier in the week Solskjaer had confirmed that team captain would not be featuring in today’s line up due to his transfer negotiations with Inter Milan. The Express, however, this morning reported that Ashley Young will no longer be moving to Inter Milan allowing the United manager the option of playing his skipper in tonight’s game.

Another possible change to the line-up tonight would be Romero coming in for Man United goalkeeper David de Gea. Although David de Gea played a crucial part in Manchesters win against Norwich City over the weekend, Romero put up a stellar performance in United’s last encounter with the Wolves and was the reason Wolves were unable to score.

De Gea has had a tough time getting into form this season and Solskjaer has already been looking to Romero as a possible replacement in the starting lineup.
