Pogba has only played in 8 games this season having only made it back to the pitch in December when Man Utd played Watford.

Although Man Utd lost the game, Pogba’s influence when he came in as a substitute, was a game-changer for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side

This surgery now means that Manchester will now have to face the likes of Man City and  Liverpool without him.

Scott McTominay will also be out for up to 8 weeks due to a knee ligament injury sustained from Manchester’s game with Newcastle on Boxing Day.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is going to have a tough time as he faces the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City without a strong midfield. He may have to look towards investing in some new midfield talent during the January transfer period.
