Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said the following  when announcing the English center-back as his squad’s new captain:

“Harry has come in and been wearing the captain’s armband and he will keep wearing it,”

“He has been a leader in the group and I have not been surprised but impressed with his leadership skills.”

The Man United manager also gave out some bad news stating that he was unsure that Marcus Rashford would be fit enough to play in Sundays Premier League game against Liverpool.

Rashford suffered a back injury during the FA Cup replay match against Wolves on  Wednesday which saw him leaving the pitch in agony.

Speculation has been rife as to the extent of the injury but Ole has tried calming down fans but stating that although it is not certain he will be ready in time for the game on Sunday, there is a possibility that he might recover in time.
