Pablo Mari has bid his former club Flamengo goodbye as he goes to join Arsenal in the Premier League after returning to Brazil earlier this week after talks collapsed just after his weekend medical.

Palo Mari will be joining Arsenal on loan with an option to buy as the Gunners were unable to finalize their initial deal with Flamengo, instead opting for a £4.2million loan deal.
Mikel Arteta has been looking to strengthen his backline and the addition of the left-footed centre-back could not have come at a better time as the transfer window closes this Friday.
Welcome to Arsenal Pablo Mari 🤟🏾.

The Gunners are yet to lose a game since the start of the year with Mikel Arteta at the helm.
With the Gunners currently on 10th position on the Premier League table, just 10 points away from Champions League contention, Mikel Arteta still has a chance of bringing the club back to its former title-chasing glory days last seen during the Arsene Wenger era.
Arsenal supporters have high expectations of Arteta’s first signing and only time will tell if the new Arsenal manager will live up to his promise of getting the club back on track towards adding more silverware to their trophy cabinet.
