The Milwaukee Bucks are on course to become the third team in league history to win 70 games. Their win against the Philadelphia 76ers just went to show that the team made the right decision in not changing up their squad during the before the trade deadline.

The Bucks squad which includes the current leagues MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo are currently the Eastern Conference leaders with a record 44-7, with this win against the 76ers being their third straight win.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks scoresheet with a double-double scoring 36 points, 20 rebounds, and 6 assists. Khris Middleton followed up with 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Antetokounmpo gave the following statement when speaking about his team’s accomplishments this season

“I think a lot of teams are getting players so they can play against us, so they can guard us better,”

“But I think we’re the best team in the NBA; we have the best record in the NBA.”

“For me, I think there should not be any change. Thank God there wasn’t. I think the guys we have, the chemistry we have on the team is amazing right now. The guys we have are playing great. These are the guys I’ve been going to war with all season and I’m happy we have the same team.” he said after the 112-101 win.

The 76ers came out in poor form with Philadelphia’s Joel Embiid scoring a double-double with 19 points 11 rebounds and 6 assists. The 76ers had a poor field goal percentage success rate of 37.4% as he himself only managed to score 6 of his 26 attempted shots.

“Tonight I missed a lot of wide-open looks,” Embiid said before going on to explain the rest of the teams game plan as:

“We came into the game with a plan of shooting a lot of 3s, especially with the way they guard us. I’m proud of my teammates. I felt tonight, compared to the previous games, we competed.”

Tobias Harris led the 76ers campaign scoring 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.

The Philadelphia 76ers are in 6th position on the Eastern Conference table going 31-21.
