Inter Milan Top Of Serie A Table With 2-0 win Over Juventus

Inter Milan beat AC Milan 4-2  and now take the top spot on the Serie A table with 54 points beating Juventus on goal difference.

Ac Milan dominated the first half of the game with Ante Rebic scoring the first goal for the visitors 40 minutes into play.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic came through with the second goal from AC Milan one minute into the first-half injury time sending AC Milan into the halftime break with a 0-2 lead.

At this point it looked like Inter’s winning streak was about to come to an end

After their performance in the first half, it looked unlikely that Inter Milan would be able to recover but they game out int the second half to prove otherwise.

Marcelo Brozovic provided Inter with their first goal in the 51st minute. Teammate Matias Vecino came through with the equalizing goal for Inter Milan just 2 minutes later.

Stefan de Vrij continued Inter’s surprise comeback putting the away side in the lead with a header in the 70th minute.

Romelu Lukaku finished off the game with a  goal 3 minutes after the end of official time giving Inter Milan a 4-2 victory over Milan.

Inter now go 16 games unbeaten in the Serie A league and face Napoli who are currently 18 games undefeated.

The race for the Serie A title is still very close with Inter only ahead of Juventus by goal difference and third place Lazio just trailing by 1 point.
