LA Lakers Dominate Phoenix Suns With 125-100 Win

Western Conference leadersĀ  LA Lakers totally dominated in their game against Phoenix Suns, beating them 125-100 with Lakers Rajon Rondo scoring his season-best at the Staples Center.

Phoenix Suns started off strong in the first quarter but lost momentum as the game wore on. The teams exchanged the lead 18 times within the first 12 minutes and at the end of the first quarter, only a point separated the two with Lakers onĀ  31 and Suns following with 30 points.

The second quarter saw the LA Lakers starting to break away with an 18-4 run and Rajon Rondo scoring 15 points in that quarter alone.

The Lakers went on to dominate the rest of the gameĀ  recording 59 rebounds to the Suns 29

The absence of injured DeAndre Ayton, who was replaced was felt by Cheick Diallo, was felt by the Suns.

Anthony Davis led the charge for the LA Lakers with a double-double, scoring a total ofĀ  25 baskets with 10 rebounds and 5Ā  assists.

He was followed by Rajon Rondo who scored 23 points with 4 rebounds and 6 assists. LeBron James came up a little short on the night with only 17 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists.

Mikal Bridges took charge for the Phoenix Suns scoring 18 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists followed by Cheick Diallo with 15 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

The Suns slouch as the game progressed allowed the Lakers to widen the gap with each quarter giving them their second straight win as they walked away winning the game 125-100 at the Staples Center.

The Lakers continue to dominate at the top of the Western Conference table going 40-12.

The Phoenix Suns find themselves at the lower spectrum of the Western Conference at 13th position this second straight loss put them 21-33.
