It’s NBA All-Star weekend and the action took off on Friday night with the Rising Stars Challenge in Chicago where Zion Williamson left quite an impression.
Team USA managed to beat Team World 151-131 with Charlotte Hornet Miles Bridges taking away the MVP award after scoring 20 points with 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
‘We wanted to come out and play hard in the Rising Stars and show what Charlotte is about – me, Devonte’ (Graham) and P.J. (Washington),’ the Isiah Thomas winner said
‘And that’s what we did. I didn’t have any extra motivation, really, I wouldn’t say that. But MJ putting Chicago on the map, it definitely plays a big part, though.’
Collin Sexton added 21 points for the team followed by Trae Young who scored 18 points. Kendrick Young scored 16 and Zion Williamson laid down 14 points in Chicago on Friday.
One of the major highlights of the night came from Zion Williamson who put an entertaining display of dunks with one of them having bent the rim after a spectacular alley-opp dunk.

He was unaware of the damage his dunk had caused as he went on to say “Went into halftime and my teammates started telling me about it,”

“I don’t know which dunk it was on, but I don’t think it was me.”
Team World were lead on the scoreboard by RJ Barrett who scored 27 points followed by 22 points from Brandon Clarke.
The All-Star Game feature Team LeBron vs Team Giannis takes place on Saturday.
