Romanian Simona Halep will face Elena Rybakina from Kazakh in the finals of the Dubai Championship on Saturday after beating Jennifer Brady from the US.
Simona Halep defeated Jennifer Brady in straight-set scoring 6-2 6-0.

Elena Rybakina who now ranked 19th in the world after climbing 150 places in the 2019 season, defeated Petra Martic 7-6 (7/5), 7-6 (7/2) in the semi-finals setting up the two sportswomen on a collision course for the Dubai Championship title.
Halep who is currently ranked world number two will be chasing the 20th title of her tennis career as she reaches the finals of the Dubai Championship tournament for the second time having won the title in 2015.
“It’s always a nice opportunity and privilege to play the last match of the tournament.” Halep said after having beaten Brady in the semi-finals.
“I’m playing for another trophy, so I’m relaxed. I’m focused. I really want it. Playing here in Dubai makes me happy on court, I actually feel like every day I’m improving.”

20-year-old Elena Rybakina who reached the 3rd round off the Australian Open this year will be facing the world number 2 in their Saturday match up as they fight it out for the Dubai Championship Title.
