Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has stated that Eden Hazard may not be available for the rest of the season after following the injury he suffered when the club played Levante over the weekend.

Eden Hazard has spent most of the season the sideline due to injury. He missed out on most of the beginning of the season having sustained a thigh injury right before the start of this first season for Real Madrid during their training session.
He managed to return in September but later sustained an ankle fracture November during Real Madrid’s match against Paris St-Germain. The injury had him out of commission for another 2 months.
This will be the second ankle fracture the footballer has sustained this season.
Manager Zinedine Zidane made the following statement regarding the injured Belgium:
“I don’t know if his season is over, I don’t know but I hope not,” .
“I don’t know if he will need an operation, it’s not my area. I can see he’s not happy.”
“It’s important he stays positive but of course it’s difficult. It’s a bad moment, it won’t be easy and he will feel like this for a while.”

Real Madrid will be disappointed not to be able to capitalise on their £89m signing from Chelsea.
