US Rock Star Jon Bon Jovi let slip the preparations that Bayern Munich underwent before their 0-3 Champions League against Chelsea on Tuesday.
The American rock star went on British radio and explained how he bumped into the Bayern Munich squad at the bar in the hotel where he was staying gon Monday night, just hours before their game.
“I was minding my own business in the bar,” he told Talk Sport.
“And the team were in there the night before last (Monday) and how they, on the power of whisky and beer, overpowered Chelsea last night doesn’t say much for Chelsea’s drinking habits either.”
“The Bayern guys were certainly sipping whisky and having a good ol’ time — and they went and shellacked Chelsea,”
“I am going to get everyone in trouble.”
Well wither way, the ‘German tankers’ were still able to outmanoeuvre and outperform their hosts as they walked away with a 0-3 away victory against Chelsea as they await the next game of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 which will be played on Wednesday 18 March
The rock star is currently in London to record a track for the Invictus Games Foundation which was founded by Prince Harry to assist war veterans.
