The draw for the round of 16 stage of the UEFA Europa League has been held with the first leg games taking place on Thursday 12 March in two sessions with the second leg one week later on Thursday 19 March.

This will be the first time the 2 clubs meet. Roma have a bad history when facing Spanish team away having only won one of their last 6 visits to Spain when they beat Villareal in the round of 32 in the 2016/17 season.
Internazionale vs Getafe
This will be the first time Getafe face an Italian clu as the two clubs go head to head. Internazionale have not defeated a Spanish side in their last 6 encounters.
Wolfsburg vs Shakhtar Donetsk
This will be te first time these two clubs meet in competition. It was a German team, namely Eintracht Frankfurt, that knocked Shakhtar out of the UEFA Europa League last season.
Rangers vs Leverkusen
This is not the first time the clubs have met up in UEFA competition. In the UEFA Cup second round 1998/9, Rangers managed to defeat Leverkusen scoring 1-1 at home and 1-1 1-2 away.
Olympiakos vs Wolves
This will mark the first time the Wolves play a Greek team as the clubs meet up fo the first time ever.
