Kaizer Chiefs will face Orlando pirates today at 15:30 in what will be the last Soweto Derby of this season.
Kaizer Chiefs German coach Ernst Middendorp who as never lost a game at the Soweto Derby is confident in his team chances today even though Orlando Pirates are undefeated in their last 6 PSL games.
With no injuries or suspensions to report of, Middendorp decided to keep his strategy for the game to himself as he went on to say:
“The spirit in the camp is high… We have gone through the training sessions very well. I am satisfied with our preparations. The game is hyped up just like any other Derby match in the world. You can see with the media and the supporters that this match means a lot to people, and we are aware of that.”
“It is going to be a tight match, I cannot reveal much about the approach. Also, we have done our intelligence work, but we will play cards close to our chest. What everybody has seen is their work rate and ability to grind for results.”
Even though Amakhosi are at the top of the PSL table, the Buccaneers result string of results has put them as the betting mans favourites in today’s match.
