Chelsea who are currently in 4th spot will have to secure a win or at very most a draw should they wish to keep themselves in the Premier League top 4.

Chelsea are currently sitting on 41 points with Tottenham hot on their tail with 40 points.

With just one point separating the clubs the landscape at that level of the Premier League table could change by the end of the day.

Chelsea vs Tottenham

Chelsea host Tottenham Hotspurs today and Frank Lampard will be looking to release some pressure on his side with a win to increase the gap between him and chasing Tottenham and Sheffield.

Chelsea will have to get themselves together after having only picked up 2 points in their last 4 Premier League matches.

With Tammy Abraham available for today’s matchup, Frank Lampard will have less to worry about at the front end of the pitch and concentrate more on the back end as his side have conceded a total of 7 goals in their last Premier League games.

Jose Mourinho’s side are coming right of their Champions League defeat to RB  Leipzig and are still without their top strikers Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.

Dele Alli will have a chance to vent off his frustrations of being substituted in the Champions League game earlier this week as Mourinho will most likely allowing him a full games play seeing as the side will have a week off until their next match which will be against Wolves on 1 March.

A win would see Tottenham leapfrog over Chelsea and secure themselves a top 4 spot no matter the outcome of Sheffield’s match.
