As Tottenham Hotspurs take on Norwich in the 5th round of the FA Cup, Tottenham fans will be looking to see if Jose Mourinho finally gives Troy Parrott a chance to prove his worth.
Coming off three consecutive losses back to back, Spurs fans are hoping that manager Jose Mourinho may play 18-year-old Troy Parrot in tonight’s game.
With the likes of Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son and Moussa Sissoko still out due to injury, and now Hugo Lloris sitting out this game with a groin injury, expectations are high that the so-called “Special One” may finally see fit to give the youngster a shot today.
Mourinho did not reject the possibility that Troy Parrot may feature in today’s match but did state that no matter how well the Irish International performs tonight against Norwich he should not expect a place int he first-team squad until he matures in attitude.
Norwich who are currently bottom of the Premier League facing relegation, go into tonight’s game without Christoph Zimmermann, Ralf Fahrmann and Timm Klose.
Teemu Pukki and Alexander Tettey are still doubtful for today’s match having missed out on training all week due to illnesses.
Tottenham are tonight’s favourites as Norwich have not made i through to the FA Cup quarter-finals since 1991-92.
