F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton is continuing his 14 self-isolation after coming into contact with Hollywood Actor Idris Elba at a function they both attended.

Idris Elba confirmed on Monday 16, that both he and his wife Sophie Trudeau had tested positive for COVID-19. Lewis Hamilton and IdrisElbaboth attended a function on March 4 before the F1 World Champion flew to Melbourne Australia for the start of the F1 season.
Hamilton went onto his Instagram to let fans know that he is doing well and has not shown any of the COVID-19 symptoms. As a lack of symptoms, he has not undergone a coronavirus test as test kists are limited and better put to use on people showing symptoms.

“I wanted to let you know that I’m doing well, feeling healthy and working out twice a day. I have zero symptoms, and it’s now been 17 days since I saw Sophie and Idris. I have been in touch with Idris and happy to hear he is OK.” The F1 World Champion wrote on his Instagram
“I did speak to my doctor and double-checked if I needed to take a test but the truth is, there is a limited amount of tests available and there are people who need it more than I do, especially when I wasn’t showing any symptoms at all.
“So what I’ve done is keep myself isolated this past week, actually since practice was cancelled last Friday and kept my distance from people.”
