Former WNBA star Maya Moore has wedded Jonathan Irons, the man she helped work to free from prison after he was wrongful convicted.
The couple appeared together on ABC’s show to discuss their social justice matters and their relationship.

Retired WNBA star Maya Moore disclosed that they were married earlier this year, after Jonathan Irons was released on 1 July 2020.
“We got married a couple of months ago and we are excited to continue this new chapter of our life together,” Maya Moore said.

The retired star won four WNBA trophies with the Minnesota Lynx, she hang her boots in 2019 in part to have more to Irons.
Jonathan Irons was convicted as an 18-year-old following the burglary and assault charges that were overturned in March this year after the prosecutors had suppressed fingerprint evidence that would have aided his defense.
