Denver Nuggets Equalize Series To Los Angel Clippers at 3-3

The Denver Nuggets overcame a 19-point second-half deficit to beat the Los Angeles Clippers and take the Western Conference semi-final to game seven.

The Los Angeles Clippers secured 10 consecutive misses in the third quarter, allowing Denver to cut the points gap and take charge to win 111-98.

Nikola Jokic scored 34 points to help force a series decider on Tuesday.

The Denver Nuggets needed at least seven matches to overcome Utah Jazz after winning match 3-1 in the last round and now they became the first club since 1970 Los Angeles Lakers to force multiple deciders in the same NBA play-offs run.

If the Denver Nuggets win on Tuesday to set up a Western Conference final when they face Lakers, Denver would become the first side to recover from a 3-1 loss for the second time in play-offs.

The Los Angeles Clippers are aiming to reach a first conference final in their 50-year history.

“Couldn’t buy a basket” said  Lakers star Kawhi Leonard after the defeat at Disney World in Orlando.

“ it was beautiful,” said Clippers coach Doc Rivers. “Then we stopped moving the ball, stopped playing. That’s what let them get back in the game.”
