Before Saturday’s win over 10-man Strasbourg, Lionel Messi was introduced to the Paris St-Germain fans. Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Georginio Wijnaldum, and Achraf Hakimi were also introduced as new signings.
Messi sat in the stands as Mauricio Pochettino’s side made it two Ligue 1 victories in a row. PSG won thanks to goals from Mauro Icardi, Kylian Mbappe, Julian Draxler, and Pablo Sarabia.

Strasbourg, trailing by three goals after half an hour, had the better chances in the second half and tied the game at 3-2 thanks to headers from Kevin Gameiro and Ludovic Ajorque.

The visitors struggled with 10 men after Alexander Djiku’s second yellow card for a foul on Icardi, and Sarabia tapped in PSG’s fourth from Mbappe’s cross to put the game to bed.

Messi was unavailable for the game after signing a two-year contract with PSG earlier this week. He had only recently returned from international duty with Argentina.
He sat alongside Ramos and Donnarumma as Wijnaldum and Hakimi both made appearances.
