Harry Kane Traveled With Tottenham Squad For Sunday Match At Wolves

"He trained today. He trained good. He will train tomorrow Saturday and tomorrow we will make a decision. I'm so sorry to keep saying the same things but this is how we work. It's a day by day situation,"

Tottenham striker Harry Kane, 28, has joined the squad for the trip to Wolves for the Sunday match at 14:00 GMT despite being linked with a move to Man City, who are reportedly willing to break their British transfer record of £100 million to engage him.

Harry Kane was sidelined when the Tottenham side played their Premier League opener against Man City last Sunday, and also missed Thursday’s Europa Conference League defeat at the hands of Pacos de Ferreira of Portugal.

Harry Kane didn’t arrive at Spurs as expected after a break following Euro 2020, but later stated that he has “never refused to train” and will return to the club as planned.

He believes he has a gentleman’s agreement with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to leave this summer, but the Spurs chairman has refused to negotiate.

Tottenham Hotspurs manager Nuno Espirito Santo has declined to be drawn on Kane’s future and said in a pre-match comment on Friday that the England captain trained.

“He trained today. He trained good. He will train tomorrow Saturday and tomorrow we will make a decision. I’m so sorry to keep saying the same things but this is how we work. It’s a day by day situation,” he said.

He also stated that he was kept up to date on Kane’s situation “every day.” Meanwhile, on August 6, Man City manager, Pep Guardiola confirmed the club’s interest in Harry Kane.

Wolves striker Raul Jimenez, who returned from a fractured skull last weekend, could make his first competitive appearance at Molineux in nine months.

Yerson Mosquera and Willy Boly, both on defense, are still out with hamstring injuries. Following the midweek European defeat, a slew of Spurs regulars are expected to return.
