Andy Murray has been eliminated from the Winston-Salem Open, but British No. 1 Dan Evans has advanced to the third round in North Carolina.

Andy Murray, 34, was defeated by American Frances Tiafoe 7-6 (7-4) 6-3, while Evans, 31, defeated Frenchman Lucas Pouille 3-6 6-4 6-1.

Dan Evans, who missed the Olympics in Tokyo due to a positive Covid-19 test, will face Richard Gasquet in the last 16.
