Fulham’s star man Alexander Mitrovic scored late to make for a tense final 10 minutes as Marco Silva’s side suffered their second loss of the season.

Spurs threatened to score almost every time they came forward, and they had plenty of chances to extend their lead even further, firing 23 shots, 10 of which were on target.

After some nifty passing in Fulham’s box, Hojbjerg slotted home into the bottom corner, before Kane headed home to double their lead after 75 minutes.
Fulham had been unable to enter the game for the majority of the 90 minutes, with Mitrovic’s threat neutralized until his sixth goal of the season in the 83rd minute.

Richarlison, making his first start for Tottenham since joining from Everton in the summer, looked lively and had a goal disallowed for offside in the closing minutes.
