Sherrock Makes PDC World Darts Championship History Beating A Man

Former BDO Women’s World Championship runner-up Fallon Sherrock had made PDC World Darts Championship history by being the first woman to beat a man.

She beat 22-year-old Ted Evetts 3-2 after a sensational comeback that saw her moving onto the next round of the contest.

Japan’s BDO World Champion Mikuru Suzuki who is the only other woman in the competition, narrowly lost out to James Richardson on Sunday night losing 3-2.

Sherrock will now face Serbia’s Mensur Suljovic in the second round of the competition.

The 25-year-old later went on to tweet:

“I’m buzzing! I can’t believe I’ve made history tonight… done it for the girls, that was amazing,”
